About Us
International Orphan Aid is a humanitarian project providing care for orphans and children of widows. International Orphan Aid was founded to establish a safe place for widows and orphans because they are societies most vulnerable. The organization supplies necessities such as nutritional support, educational, medical and dental care of orphans and widows with children in need.
Registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt, public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. EIN# 27-2403326. International Orphan Aid ensures that employer matched contributions do not fund religious activities such as worship or proselytization where prohibited.
Our Mission Statement
International Orphan Aid will improve the quality of life for orphaned and impoverished widows with children. Whether living in an orphanage or on the street, many children are at risk of death, injury or illness. We believe children should not have to go without basic needs such as proper nutrition, medical care, clean water, education, loving attention and shelter.
Our History
In 2001 Mark and Rhonda Benz began working through the process of a Cambodian adoption of two orphaned children. During this time they became close friends with other adoptive parents of Cambodian children including Ben and Christina Chronister. Together the two couples founded Help-AOA
