Our History
In 2001 Mark and Rhonda Benz began working through the process of a Cambodian adoption for Seth and Chantal. During this time they became close friends with other adoptive parents of Cambodian children including Ben and Christina Chronister. Together the two couples founded Help AOA to help the children living at the orphanage.
This organization was later expanded to include additional orphanages in Cambodia. The name was later changed to Cambodian Orphan Aid or COA for short to express our intentions to include all orphans in Cambodia regardless of where they might be living.
